Was this the right thing todo?

Stable had yet again sprung a leak, I put his light weight on at about 15,00.

Was going to put his stable rug on but it was too dark to patch up the leak!!

So have put him to bed with the LW on, it was wet but he was dry, I have a mental bloc on indoor and out door rugs, his LW does have a fillet string.

Is this ok? Just did not want him getting wet in the night.

Thanks

Sorry for the idiot questions, all of my others have always been out, but he is a fragile thIng lol not to look at him though... Looks like a teddy and a barrel cross, bit still feels cold behind the ears and in his arm pit.

Sorry I digress :(

If its been raining or is really cold, I leave my MW on Birdy in the stable. The design of the rugs and materials they are made out from these days is just amazing. As long as the rug is secure it will be fine.:)

Also.... There are two points in Birdys stable that just seem to drip all the time from condensation, so outside rugs would be much better to use

turnout rugs are designed to be lived in 24/7 by horses that live out it makes no difference leaving them in in one, you wouldnt change them in to a stable rug just because their in a field shelter would you ;)

Thank you all, I am glad that you agree that I have not gone mad :)

I will just leave him to get on with it...

And try to get my head around the fact he Is stabled in a TO :)

Thanks again, funny how a change in routine puts doubt in my head xx
