Yep we had our first snow this exact day last year!! just outside Dundee in Scotland!

Good God......Lol, I thought when I came out this morning oh its quite warm - by the time I reached the farm, I went to put my girls rug on her it was so chilly!!!!!!

Its definitely colder here today, I went up and put a under rug on tintin because i'm super soft! (well he's naked too) it just feels freezing tonight! I did leave the shetland (with a small haynet, he usually has nothing) in just a lw though as he still feels lovely and toasty. Supposed to be a cold weekend which i'm not looking forward too :-( x

we just had torrential rain! had to force the horse out to the field today he was not impressed was stood at the gate looking grumpy when i went to bring him in, please dont send the snow to east lothian, i dont want it not yet

We had sleet lashing down when I went out midday to see to the ponies. It was freezing.

Winter has definitely arrived.

Stopped off at the field tonight on the way home from a 13hr shift, to make sure our newish 18yr old was still warm enough in his LW, he was despite the baltic breeze off the moors, my boy is still unrugged and quite content to be so, me I will be digging out my furlined trappers hat and thermal gloves before work tomorrow

It was 4c first thing this morning (yesterday 13c) but by lunchtime the temp had dropped and at 2 oclock it was sleet! Best get the snow tyres fitted!
