really wet horse

when i stabled my horse the last couple of days his stable is soaking wet and when i muck in out it smells really stronge. it's so bad i have to come out to breath. do you think he could have water infection? he is fine in himself, but his stable is gross

sounds like you need more bedding to soak up the excess moisture! lol =]

it doesn't matter how much bedding you put in,the more bedding the worse he is

Get a tub of stable zone, sprinkle it on the floor after mucking out and leave it under the bed, after a couple of days you will notice a VAST difference. Lot of our horses have been super wet, mine included, possibly not helped by the sun - rain - sun - more rain weather of late..

I think that is the same sort of think as stalosan isnt it? i used stalosan at college doin animal management. its about £15 for 8kg
