Some of you may remember my Siamese who went missing in February. We never found her and as I couldnt live without a cat we adopted two Siamese sisters. They are lovely but over the weekend I discovered a lump on one of the cat's nipples/teats (underneath the skin). I am really worried that it's a tumour or something - I couldnt cope with losing another girl. I have her booked in to the vets on Wednesday. She has had two litters of kittens although she's only 4 years old. She's now been spayed and is eating well and very active. I havent noticed this lump before so I can only assume it's reasonably new. Please help - I am the eternal pessimist so am looking on the dark side.

Don't panic!! Its good news that she has been speyed though, mammory lumps are often associated with un neutered females!

It could be anything such as a bite or claw wound that has become infected, a duct that has become clogged or similar!

Honestly don't panic!! Good luck xx

Hope all goes well, my old Mogolicious had something like this - it was only after I had a biopsy done that it suddenly really grew (maybe I should have left it).

She had it removed, it was a benign tumour which caused no problems or grew back.

Brother's pup had the same and he had a biopsy done which showed it to be a fatty lump - again skinny springer spaniel pup!
