On anticipation of actually passing my A-Levels this summer, I'm looking into taking an equine college course. I'm based in Shrewsbury, Shropshire, and had looked into Walford & North Shrops college, but really I much prefer the sound of the Level 3 Extended Diploma Horse Management course at Reaseheath. I have read the course info on the site, and plan on going to an open day, but in the meantime would any of you lovelies be able to tell me any more about it? I'm wondering about the content of the course, and the sort of level I'd be expected to ride at, how many days a week it is, whether you thought the course was well taught and even if I'd be able to take my horse with me (or any reccomended local livery yards?). Any info will help me in making my decisions really, even if just about the college itself.

Thanks very much! :)

Hi, I don't know about that particular course but I know you can take your own horse and if you let them use him in lessons the livery is cheaper.
There is a vet on site, a brand new (huge) indoor school.
There are lots of livery yards in the area depending on your livery needs and how far from the college you will travel to.
Google Cheshire Horse website for a long list of yards or PM me.
The college is friendly, mainly horse and agricultural near a nice town. During the day Nantwich has bespoke shops and at night nice pubs and restaurants.
I hope you enjoy the open day :)
