Any one know where to get some from? No-one local seems to sell them but by the time delivery has been added from the internet they're working out at between £30 and £40 per pole! Am I being hopelessly out of touch in thinking this is expensive?

I got mine from my local tack shop for £18 each, just over 3 years ago. So yes! £30 for a single pole is definately expensive! Do you have to have plastic poles? You could get wood poles from a timber merchant for about £12 each, and paint them yourself at home? x

I've got some wooden ones but they're just so damn heavy to move around that I wanted to get plastic this time. Good to know they are available cheaper though so will keep looking around.

thank you

I got mine from the insides of carrot wrapping. You know the netting stuff they put on the fields when the carrots are growing. Our local farmer sells them off for a couple of quid a pole.
They are exactly like jump poles but not colours - some gloss paint later! ta da!! no-one would know the difference :D
