Reasons to be cheerful.....

..... about this cold weather. While I was trundling my wheelbarrow across the field to my muck heap, I was thinking that despite having frozen toes, I actually prefer this weather compared with the mild wet weather of late. My reasons are:

(1) I can actually move aforementioned wheelbarrow, instead of getting stuck in the mud.
(2) I burn calories off just keeping warm.
(3) The house is much cleaner because the dogs aren't bringing the mud in.
(4) Poo picking is quicker because there are just 10 or so lumps to pick up each day instead of 10 piles.
