I need new jodphurs. Really I do. I have ONE pair that don't really fit so most of the time I ride in whatever I've got on. Not only does it make me look like I can't ride

, it's not doing my other trousers any good.

I'd like a couple of pairs that need to be be:

Cotton (or mostly cotton, not nasty sweaty synthetic)
Stretchy ( so I can bend my leg enough to mount!)
Thick material (so they don't wrinkle and go baggy)
Cheap (have three pair to buy! Under £25 ideally)
In purple and in green (must colour co-ordinate with my horse you know

)

I have a couple of pair of nice show jod but I took the lable off and can't remeber the make. I really like the thick heavy cotton/lycra ones but it's hard to tell from the picture and descriptions how 'heavy' they are.

Derby House own make are great - but not sure if you will get the colours you want. Surely any colour would do if you've been riding in just any trousers?

For everyday jods I absolutely love Harry Hall Atlanta. I have two pairs and they are washed and worn, washed and worn. They dont go baggy and are lovely and comfy to ride in.

I got cheap Saxon ones from Derby house and so far they've done really well, washed well etc.
Think they were about £18. They're quite thick and haven;t gone wrinkly, despite being washed and tumble dried loads.

Ah ha, found it! Haven't been able to get into my email for a while and posts seen to drop off pretty quickly.

Thanks for the suggestions. The atlanta one look good but I'm not keen on the leather knee pads bits. I'll def have a look at the robinsons ones though - they'd be perfect. Thanks!
