My old Ariats have lost the will to live now - soles gone completley soft. I'll be darned if I am spending that much money on boots again as generally I do yard stuff in them as well - Ariats are just not built for mucking out!
So, new boots. Would prefer a chunkier style, brown, waxed leather type with a zip front. Pref around £50 max - not too fussed about top brands as no boots last forever.
Fire away... :D

I have Regent boots, but they're back zip and black :) alright quality - had them for a year, sides a bit rubbed but generally still a fine pair of booties! they were around 68 pounds if I remember right.

Can your Ariats be re-soled? I've never had any so I'm not sure if the soles are stitched on or not, but my faithful old pair of CAT boots that I wear for yard work have been re-soled several times and are still going strong after almost 10 years!

Not sure! Will have a look - although to be honest I havent looked after them ever so well, so I am not sure how the long the leather would hold up anyway!

Thanks for the suggestions!

Will google some regent boots!:)

I have some regents too and I love them. Though I must admit that I am really gutted at the length of time the stitching has lasted. I have had them about 3 months (haven't even mucked out in them) and the stitching around the ball of my foot has gone already! Need to get back to regent about it tbh as I'm sure they should last longer. They are gorgeous boots though, v comfy, and the rest of them is hardly showing any wear.

I`ve got a Pair of Harry Hall Recifes. I`ve worn them every day for the past year, riding, mucking out, being stood on, walking dogs, going to shows...everything. they`re still going strong and they cost £25 :)
They dont have a zip but are sturdy...brown waxed and so bloody comfy :)
