Received a kindle for Christmas :-)

If you like horsey, rom coms, try Fiona Walker books. There was a similar thread to this a couple of weeks ago

Dont be afraid to search and download free books on kindle - i have enjoyed some really good reads of books i wouldn't normally pick up by doing this.

My all time favourite book is "blind beauty" by KM Peyton! I think it's a child's/teens book really but I loved it when I was younger and it remains my favourite! It's about a blind racehorse, fab book x

I got a kindle too, kinda bouncing here, I've wanted one for so long and I know I have read it a million times over and over the first book I got was the Classic Anna Sewell's Black Beauty ... it was free too .. bonus

Life of pi is only 20p atm .. thats about as far as I have got soo far, but I shall watch this thread

'Chosen by a horse' and 'One dollar horse' I think are the ones I have read on kindle. Lots of horse books for the younger version and also if you search horse you will get some ideas. I also read mary kings autobiography on it.

Me too loving the kindle but quite suprised at how expensive some of the books are!

For fiction i love Cathy Woodman

I have just started reading Ozzie by Elaine Heney which is great so far and also downloaded
Mark Rashid 'Horses never lie'
Black beauty free on kindle
Lauren St John 'The one dollar horse'

I enjoyed Claire Baldings book as well, her childhood sounded very familiar for many country children at that time!!

If you like books about people and the countryside Marcia Willet was recommended to me by local book shop as a local author when on holiday in Devon and her books are very readable, based around Devon and Cornwall and the country side.

Ooh I got one too :-) (bf got it AND a cover with haflingers on for which he was very pleased with himself) have only got as far as the free classic ones, must download!
