Recent warm weather??

I've read a lot of posts on here recently where people are saying that the weather is currently unseasonably warm..... am I the only one that thinks it's damn cold???!!

My horses are out in the field without rugs on still which is unheard of this late in the year.... however it does seem to get very chilly at night.

I've been riding without a coat on in the evenings, and my clipped horses are still in LW rugs, and getting very sweaty... therefore it seems warm to me

Oh maybe it's just at my yard then!! I rode last night with lots of layers, a scarf and a big coat (in an indoor school!) and my unclipped horse worked v hard and wasn't even warm under his saddle!!

the air's cold but there's been no wind here s no wind-chill factor, and in the sun, the moment i start doing any work i'm down to a t-shirt cos i start sweating. it's chuffing cold at night though!

Gah I feel like its cold, horse is in a medium weight. Mind you we have poor grazing so his food factor isnt so good!

Its definitely not cold!
At times, yeah we've had a couple of cooler nights! but its so warm during the day!
My horses who usually come in during September are still out and are only coming in from tomorrow due to fireworks.
I have friends who have fully clipped horses who are out 24/7 and are very happy and warm.
I havent warn a coat riding either! too hot for that!

We have had some very warm sunny weather down here recently!
I am certinaly not complaining

I think it has been very mild in the day and there hasn't been much cloud which has made it warmer. However, that makes it colder at night! I'm finding rugging my horses quite difficult at the moment because it seems to change from one extreme in the day to the opposite at night!

Very mild in the SWest. My 2 are in lightweight turnout rugs and stable rugs and are hunter clipped.

Hubby and I are in t-shirts, and perfectly warn thank you. We put a rug on our old boy - for one nght - we had to take it off, he was far too hot. Yes, definately very mild.
