Don't know if this will be any good but its very warm and tasty and good for sharing!!

Get a large camembert cheese the round ones that come in wooden next type things and you can 'poke' bits of garlic/herbs in then heat in the oven or grill till nice and melted and dip in pieces of french bread pre cut up!! I am now hungry mmmm!!!

How about this one:
Butternut squash and garlic soup
Serves about six people
Peel 2 large squashes, deseed and cut into chunks, drizzle with olive oil and some chopped rosemary.
Place on baking tray together with 8-10 cloves of garlic with the skin still on and roast in a medium oven for around 25-30mins or until the squash is soft.
Put roasted squash in a blender, peel and add the garlic, cover with stock (vegetable or chicken) and blend until smooth.
Add more stock if required, and season with salt and pepper.
Serve with a glug of double cream.
:)

SOrry didnt see this post.
Club sandwiches are familly favorite after hunting as is eggy bread or gypsy toast covered in worcester sauce - once OF COURSE horses are warm, clean and dry and usually after a long hot bath!
Hmmm what else - chick pot pie - nigellas recipe! and cheese on toast! & a large drink!

Drinks wise - a rusty nail in the hip flask is dads xmas special - no idea what goes in it - though I carry two! - one on each hip - usually sloe gin and something funky like peach schnapps in the other!! ... tend not to drink it all though these days now being able to drive the box!
