Can anyone please recomed some horsebox insurers. I have a quote from NFU but want to ring around a bit!

If you know numbers that would really help as it was one thing i meant to do before i go back to work tomorrow yet havnt started and want to catch at least one befor they close...

Thanks in advance

(especially ones which insure younger drivers)

well I have just got insuirance with NFU for my daughter as 2nd driver and she is 19 with cat C just passed in December. We have had the policy for 7 years with them in my name and it ony cost £40 to add her on. You do have to be a member of NFU to get under 25 insurance.

Thanks we have a quote from NFU but were just ringing round to see what else could be offered... may just go with NFU as they were very helpful! Have Rang eachone recomended (apart from anthony evans... they are closed) but alas... no luck! anymore for me to try?

I'm with Drayton Insurance services with my lorry. Ive been with them for the last 12 years with different lorry's. There very resonable & the cover is good.

I'm with Anthony Evans and they have been brilliant. I have their breakdown cover as well and have to say it is first class service. I only had to pay for parts and they worked on my lorry for two days at a show (good job we were there for 4 days).

Would agree A Evans, been with them 10 years, several breakdowns and they've been great.
Don't forget they are brokers so if there is something about the policy you don't like (such as a mileage restriction) they will scout round and find one without it.

You won't go far wrong with N F U . They deal with everything quickly and efficiently. Unfortunatley i have had to claim a few times with one thing and another and they have been brilliant.

Im with SEIB, and when we broke down they were with us within 5 mins of me calling them. brilliant service and the breakdown people could help enough, they were fab and even took an alternative route to the garage so that we could unload tack etc from the lorry at home!
