Recomend me good vets, Wincanton area please

moving horses, need to change my vets (due to distance), and don't know who/what is in the area that comes with a 'good write up'.

I'm not in your area, but i'll be moving to somewhere around that area in the next few months or so and i've been reseraching as to who i might use and I'm tempted to try "The Stables" at Shepton Mallet too.

Really sorry to hijack your post here, but please may i ask you a question- how "horsey" is Wincanton area? is it a good area for keeping horses i.e lots of yards to keep them and good horsey shops/suppliers etc?

Good hunting/racing/RC Not many comp.centres in immediate area but plenty within 1 hour.Plenty of BE events also BD at Half Moon and the Dorset showground for BS.
2 good tack shops with a wide range of stock.
Not sure about yards in the area it depends what you are looking for in the way of facilities.
Either vets practises are good,both have horse vets.

Great- many thanks for the info, Wincanton is slightly further out than what we anticipated but may be an option- just wondered about "horsey" situation that was all, but sounds good! will check the area out!
