The saga of Josie's pain continues. Just finished with the physio and she said there was nothing wrong with her. She did all her stretches beautifully and was a very good girl. She really liked her. However as soon as we put the saddle she said that HAS to be changed. It's really swinging. I feel awful.

This saddle has now been fitted and checked in the past 2 months. But it's obviously causing discomfort.

Obviouls dont want to name names, or cast any aspersions(sp) as this may be an unforseeable thing, but does anyone know of any good saddle co fitters in Essex please? Might be needing them!!!

I work for Ideal Saddle Company and the two places i would recomend you contact would be Batchelors of Epping or Ingatestone both have great fitters. Hope that helps.

I don't rate Ingatestone, but did find Malcolm at West Essex good. I use Batchelors usually, why won't they do Saddle Co. Saddles? I have and Ideal and it keeps Anthony happy...never mind the horse!!

My friend swears by Kiln, I have used a girl called Chloe from Mersea way, I'll see if I can dig out her number. Where abouts in Essex are you?

I'm in the Romford area xx

I had Malcolm check my saddles before, and he definitely fits saddle co saddles.......he's v busy but a v nice chap.

Don't know a lot about Batchelors other than they were v rude when I tried to make an appointment, and the made to measure saddle they made for my horse (before I got him) is far too big for him.

I recommend John Rowe at South Essex, but I don't think he does Saddle Co - he's mainly a Barnsby man (as Twiglet is now happy about!!).

Sorry to hear Josie's not happy though - chin up, hope things work out for her xxx

Oh honey, I am so sorry you are having problems but you be pleased that you have finally found out what is causing her discomfort! Have you looked on the Society Master Saddlers website?
