Recommend a Hood that is really waterproof for a horse living out!

Anyone know of a hood that really is waterproff & doesn't slip. Its for horses that live out that i would like to clip their heads. The full neck rugs are good but I think it unfair to clip heads out with a full neck. Also I need it to not slip as when I go to work there is no one to check on my horses again till I get home so I have a fear of them slipping & the horse bumping their heads or rubbing it get it off. Or if it isn't really waterproof - it would be horrid to have a wet hood on - far better fro their hair to get wet - at least that will dry off - a wet hood would be like going out in the rain in your jumper with no coat - yuk I hate that! I've heard that Snuggy hoods are good - very expensive - but if they work be worth it - so some truthful reviews be good please - good or bad!!!! thanks in advance

I would definitely recommend a Sunggy Hood for you. I ahve two horses that wear them; one is now 4 years old, the other 3 years old and they are fabulous.

I too am away from home for 9 hours a day- I am always safe in the knowledge that they dont slip. They are more 'shower proof' than waterproof though so you have to dry them out overnight whilst horse is stabled.
