Hypothetically speaking...if you could afford to put a young horse with an pro eventer in the South (Hants, Berks, Surrey Sussex) who would you use and why? Am thinking not a big name because the horse may not get the attention of the "names" in yard and would be ridden by wps (no offence) (;-)).

Another vote for Vittoria, I saw her out jumping a lot last winter at addington with young horses whilst I was a WP and she always has stood out to me as having a lovely way with them, she rode them beautifully and kindly but was firm in the right way when she had to be as well. Her girls that she had with her always looked happy and to be enjoying the, selves as well. You notice these things as a WP!

Lucienne Elms- love the way she rides and the horses come back looking muscied up, fit and feeling great.

Many a pro yard out there sends your horse back looking like rubbish :-(

Ginny Howe for affordability, personal touch, loads of attention for every horse as well as care standards and rider ability.
She is based in Oxfordshire though.

Penny Sangster, she's not a big pro name but I would use her every time. She's absolutely amazing and has helped wonders with my 'problem' WB. Her results are good and she always produces lovely horses!

Hayley Crush, she's produced some very tricky horses from novice and taken through to 2*, she's a very talented rider.

Stephen Way and his soon to be wife Mel, are based Stockbridge/Andover area.
He has ridden to 4* level, yet they are a small yard with no working-pupils so every horse gets professional attention.

Or, if you wanted to send a horse Warwickshire way, ME ME ME ME :-)
I'm all on my own, so would be the only person to do everything with the horse, i've produced show-horses to win at HOYS and RIHS, and i've evented to 3* level. I've also over 10years experience with racehorses, and am currently eventing one i've retrained straight off the track as a 3yr old, to jump clear round her first Int. at the end of last season.
Also, I'm VERY cheap!!!!! and DESPERATE for some work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, plug over! haha. But yes, for that area. I can't recomend Stephen and Mel enough. With loads of experience with all types of horses.
