Recommend a tail guard for long journeys

I am in the process of getting the acavallo gel wrap, but not sure how that will fair for the long journey from Scotland to Wales??

Can anyone recommend something tried and tested for long journeys?

i like the de boiz tail guard. well padded and stays in place.
