Recommend book for dressage moves?

Hey, i have never been into schooling or dressage much before and am wondering is there a good book out there that explains all the moves and how to teach them to the horse???

i just dont really know how to ask the horse what i want from him, and alot of the schooling moves i dont even know how to do myself? plus any instructors around here normally dont teach anything of any benifit, just the basics...???

No book can teach you! It can help once you start lessons but it is very important that you get a good trainer - its the ONLY way!.

Hi, I am just working my way through '6 Steps to a Schooled Horse' by Susan McBane.....a friend gave it me for Xmas, think she was trying to tell me something

Anyway, i'm really enjoying it, from what you've said you want it could be worth a look.
