as the title says really - can anyone recommend me a comfort bridle? (i.e. which releases poll pressure) - i don't need one with a flash or a crank noseband and this is all I seem to find!!! xx

I got mine from Evison Equine, they sell on ebay and have their own website. It is lovely soft English leather, it has padded and curved headpeice which not only relieves poll pressure but also cuurves away from the base of the horses ears which is often very sensitive. They do them in Crank Flash, Crank Cavesson, Grackle, Drops ect. They also sell spare nosebands so you can swap and change them as needed.

Seconded, I saw these bridles for sale at Brigstock on Sat, lovely bridles and really soft. The people running the stand were really helpful as well. I have contact details for them if you need them:)

You could try Sue Carson saddlery, I got one a couple of years ago and am very pleased with it. It does have a flash but the loop tucks under the nose band out of sight. You can also have it customised, for example the full bridle which I needed for my boy had a 1" nose band which by the time you took into account the padding swamped his face so I had a 3/4" instead. Not cheap but lovely bridle.
