Looking for someone to come and trim my boy as my usual farrier, although very good, is fully booked until the new year and he will need trimming before then!

Have been recommended Chris Eldridge by someone at the yard, anyone know what he's like?

Needs to be barefoot friendly as he is barefoot, can't stand farriers that try and persuade you to put shoes on them when they don't need it!

Thanks in advance :)

I don't know if he would cover your area as don't know where you are but I used Robert Pollard for my barefoot thoroughbred. He is happy to do shod or trimming work and won't try and force shoeing on you. He knows how to barefoot trim, is very careful about what he does/doesn't take off and will always explain what he is doing and why.... An all round nice chap :)

Thanks everyone, will have a google of these farriers :) I'm near Maidstone, and yes he's very well behaved to trim, stands like a good boy
