Recommend me a farrier

Sadly my current farrier is emigrating to Australia so I will on the look out for a new one. Looking for someone kind, patient and reliable. Must be qualified and experienced with remedial shoeing.

I am close to Grantham

Mark Johnson, exceptional, progressive farrier.

Not sure if Sbloom is meaning the same Mark Johnson as I am thinking of (Leics based), but if so, he doesn't do traditional nailing on of steel type shoes. He is a qualified farrier, but chooses not to pursue that route anymore. If your horses are barefoot or you use duplos he would be a great choice though.

Chris Selwyn Bowden does ours and is very good. Or Richard Spence is excellent

Mark does shoe in composite and you couldn’t ask for a better farrier.

Depending which side of Grantham... if Newark side I may be able to recommend one.... he's NOT cheap though!
