I have a 4yr old oldenburg xtb who is 16.2-16.3 and is in work 4 times a week for an hr quite hard work. She is on long grass at the mo but most of the goodness has gone form it. she is currently out 24/7 but coming in at night on sat for the winter. half clipped and rugged well. doesnt need to put on weight but poss topline as she works. she is on 1.5 good scoops of alpha a oil and has access to a horselyx for vit and min. she will have hay in stable. i want something to give her a bit more energy and help her stamina as she gets 3/4 way throguh a session and feels a bit flat. however she has been on Allen and page calm and conditon and was silly so muct be less than 10% starch as cereals seem to send her silly.
do i put her on fast fibre too, speedibeet, aplhabeet, fibre beet? must be quick soaking and able to sue hot water.
do i also add half a scoop of calm and condition alrthough dengie recommend upping her generaly energy using fibre such as alpha beet etc.
looked at dodson and horrell, winergy, dengie, allen and page, british horse feeds.
needs to be value for money ie; not costing £25 a bag
