Can anyone recommend me a good equine nutrition book?

There seems to be so many different feeds, with non-impartial advice from feed helplines. I get the basics, but would really love to do a bit more reading.

Ive heard good things about 'Equine Nutrition and feeding' by Frape, but its £50 from amazon so maybe something that is good but but a bit less pricey!

Thanks in advance.

PS. Ive also seen that Edinburgh Uni run a course so might do that.

there's all sorts out there! The free course from coursera is supposed to be good, otherwise I'd just suggest you read as much as you can rather than limit yourself to one book.

I have:
the pony club manual and the literature for the B test and A test
understanding equine nutrition (Briggs)
horse nutrition and feeding (Sarah Pilner i think)
this one (for technical details of ration formulation) http://www.amazon.co.uk/Nutrient-Re...qid=1435053267&sr=1-31&keywords=horse+feeding
Holistic management of horses
Herbal Blends for horses (Hilary Self i think)
Modern Horse Herbal (also Hilary Self)
and that's just the tip of the ice berg! :D
