Recommend me a joint supplement please

Hello, on behalf of my Mother who is a serial lurker on AAD & needs technical assistance to register herself

Does anyone use a joint supplement for their dogs & what do you recommend? The dog in question is a large chocolate lab, he is rising 12 years and is quite steady now. He has rather lumpy knees but no obvious problems, he is just getting a bit old.

For my old lab, I was recommended human grade (supermarket own brand) glucosamine and chondroitin capsules. They were approx £4.00 for 60 so 2 months worth and did seem to help him

Ive used horse cortaflex for my aged dogs, they only need a tiny amount, and it works,

For humans as well..green lipped new zealand mussel capsules,about four daily for that size dog.
