Hey I posted last week regarding a wolfhound cross pup.

We have brought her home. The vet has aged her at 5-6 months. She is very leggy and tbh I think she's a little too skinny, can feel her spine, hips, shoulders, ribs etc. she was found as a stray, and we have guessed at a wolfhound cross. I'm used to rotties, this slightly built dog is new to me!

The rescue have given us Arden grange food and have recommende 100g 3x per day. I have always fed my dogs jwb with no issues so wary of a new brand.

I just want to give her the best start with us!

Arden Grange is a good food although I am not a huge fan of shovelling lots of protein from grain into large, slow-maturing dogs, we all survived before the advent of specially-made puppy food, JMO though. Would rather have a pup lean, less pressure on the joints.

Arden Grange is a perfectly good food, one of the better brands tbh, I fed my dogs on it for years. Applaws is a step up from that - it has a higher meat content.

Be wary of specific 'large breed' foods, most are just marketing.

The best all round food by far is a raw diet :p
