Recommend me a riding club

After many years of being out of the horsey circuit I'm looking to join a riding club in the Tyne and Wear/ south Northumberland area to get my youngster out and about. I would like a really active riding club with plenty of events and training clinics that I won't have to travel too far to. Any ideas?

Corbridge riding club seem to have a lot of training days / events on, I did let my membership lapse as haven't had a ridden horse for some time. They have dressage / flatwork training at my yard. There's a website if you want to have a look http://www.corbridgerc.com/

Have a look at Bedlington and blyth riding club, i've joined this year and they have lots of training and comptitions on.
Can also recommend borders rc for training, i only changed as most there events are mainly midweek which i cant do.
There is also the Newcastle rc and Bay rc.

its quite tough choosing, i used to be in sunniside and they have a good list of events but seem to be very far away from where sunniside is! Newcastle have hardly have anything on their website but what they do have is fairly local to me. I like the look of corbridge but again some of it could be a bit of a trek. aghhhh decisions!
