there is also the one in badshot lea and isnt there one called the riding centre in the old park area...obviously ive never been to them so can't comment on what they are like. There are also ones listed on the bhs site and on the pony club site (as some are pony club centre's to).

Hehe thanks amelia (:
i've been to the riding centre , thats good but they are booked up most days and lessons there are quite expensive .
The one in bagshot lea is where i done my work experience and i wouldnt go back there lol.

Hey, my share horse is kept at welly, it is actually very nice there, good crowd and they have the saddle club for adults if you want to compete and do not have your own horse.
It is expensive but if you want to ride regularly its worth becoming a member as you get a a good discount for lessons etc.
I started riding there about 6 months ago after a six year break... i am now out competing with my share horse, jumping courses of 2ft9 and tackling their x-country course! (never thought that would happen!)

They have a good selection of horses to suit everyone from safe cobs to ex-racehorses etc....

anyhow i will stop singing their praises (do agree they are pricy)! Let me know how it all goes!

I used to ride at Wellington, albeit over 10 years ago

and I loved it there. May be going back there this winter as my current RS doesn't have an indoor school and I'm a bit of a fair weather rider

You can come to us , we are about 20 minutes from Wellington.

All of the instructors are BHS qualified and we have 36 horses of different shapes and sizes all of which are well schooled and well cared for. If you do a search on my username there are some posts with the pics of the school horses competing.
