Recommend me a trimmer please

I would recommend a wahl ambassador, they are very compact (about 6 inches) powerful and fairly quiet. A good, cost effective option. Teh blades are easily sharpened and neevr break. Circuitry is simple and cheap to replace in the very unlikely event of them breaking down.

If you were willing to spend alot then you probably will never beat a Moser Arco. They are used by vets on dogs, they are incredible quiet but you would not be able to use them on anything major, tidying up only! The only drawback is the blade latch is poorly designed and I often see blades wrote off because of 1 of the 3 catches broken rendering them useless.

I could review a couple more but they would be the top 2 to consider in your position.

I use lister legato - this is rechargeable or can be used with the cord. It's quiet and effective! :)

The trouble is with the lister legato is that when the blades are sharpened its is next to impossible to tension the blades as the tension set is so brittle. What this means is you may have to change a lister legatto blade before it is is worn out. You do not have this problem with the two above!
