Recommend me an energizer for a 'numb' horse please!

my 5 year old drive me mad. Ive got to put a section of electric fence up.
she really needs a good belt off it to keep her away and im struggling to find anything with a strong enough current once she has a rug or fly sheet on?
i will fasten a peice of tape from the front of the rug to the inside to try to help but i need suggestions for the best energizer poss (cant be a mains one)

Not cheap but one of the bigger galagher ones should do the trick!!! mine if you get too close a blue spark will jump and its like being stung by a wasp:D ,the bigest are rated to power about 10 miles of fence...www.gallagher.eu
 
I've had different energisers over the years and found pretty much a like for likeness but at the moment like the mosquito one by wolesley (not sure I've spelt that right!) as it tells you whether the fence line is making a good connection and the vaultage of the battery.

The most important thing to check with any fencing is the earth and that nothing else is touching it as without that it renders any energiser useless! I've also been told to wet the area where the earth post goes to conduct the electric better if an animal touches it.
 
clip the muzzle?
no she has quite a fine coat anyway....
that one looks ace, im prepared to shell out for a really good one as i dont think the risk of her getting tangled up in the tape......
