I usually use the Cambridge Vet School but last time, was rather unimpressed that the vet let the students do it and they made a complete hash of it and the horse's gums bled for a week after..

Never had the teeth done without sedation but that was because of the vet school policy. Can an EDT sedate?

We use Grant Chanter. He's evented to Intermediate, so he actually understands when you're trying to explain any issues. Can PM you the details if you're interested? He's always been really good with mine & has a good, quiet manner.
 
I use Damien Greenshields... I've found him to be good and he works on zoo animals as well. Some of his pic's are amazing!
 
an EDT cant sedate. but we use Amy Last, she is absolutely fantastic, cant recommend her highly enough, only person who has ever been able to do my YM's horse without sedation and theyve had him 12 years lol.

very very good and is also very good at explaining things to you.

Another recommendation for Amy Last - came and did 12 horses for me and my friends 2 weekends ago.

My mare has always been vet sedated to have her teeth done with her previous owner but Amy has done her twice without now and this time she didn't fuss at all.
 
Another vote for Grant have just move up here and he was fantastic, even with a very tricky mare we have.

The vet at Hawkedon vets in Haverhill is also a dentist, and is very good. My TB gets anxious and stressed and he handles her perfectly. He was also very good checking my 3yr old's teeth for the first time.
