I used to have hunters back in the day where they lasted years and years without splitting and were made of tougher stuff. I then just resorted to buying cheaper wellies...well £40 wellies and they have split already after 4 months and for the past week I have had soaked feet from the mud. Officially had enough of changing my pair of socks everytime I take them off!

Recommend me something that will seemingly last years, comfortable and won't make my feet sweat buckets in the slightest warm weather and keep them toasty in the cold. My yard boots are my most worn piece of footwear and I need some good'uns:rolleyes:

I have Dublin Pinnicle Boots and love them, wear them all the time feet get a little hot but i do rush round everywhere but they are never wet with sweat. Had mine 2 years and still going strong.

Be interested if you find any!!

I've given up - get cheapo well-under-a-tenner wellies from the agri store and then line them with sheepskin insoles (last pair the wellies were cheaper than the insoles).

Do you want wellies in particular? I hear muckboots are good, though never had them.

Have to say my Ariat paddock boots have been the best time served boots I've ever had! I gave them NO TLC (my bad) and they lasted 2 1/2 years or so, I dread to think I might still have them now if I'd actually looked after them :o
