Can anyone suggest a good, sharp pair of fetlock scissors?

I bought a cheap pair online just to see if a)pony would accept them near his legs and b)the would do a semi decent job of trimming his legs.

The were really good but after just one use seem a bit blunt (pony has very hairy legs).

They only cost me £4 so not fussed about getting them sharpened as that costs more than the scissors themselves but was thinking of buying a better more expensive pair that will stay sharper for longer and that I can get sharpened when needed.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

I bought a set of hairdressing scissors! It was £20 for a pair of sharp normal scissors and a pair of thinning scissors. I gave foalie a make over for this season trimming her mane, feathers, ears and beard and they worked perfectly and are still very sharp!

Were these just straight scissors you used or curved ones?

I found that the curved fetlock scissors reduced that horrible step in the hair that I got with normal scissors.
