After my little tiff with Ned, I would like to inquire about some professional help to finish off his training. I'm in Milton Keynes, so someone local would be fab.
He's a good lad, he tried, but I'm totally stumped.

Thanks in advance!

What training are you looking to do with your horse? Groundwork? Flatwork? Jumping?
If you look on the BD website you will see a list of approved trainers, maybe this is a good place to start

Richard Maxwell. He will work with you to help you sort out the problem and you will learn what to do if it reoccurs in the future.

To be honest Nah I would hold off on the professional help.

Whilst there is a chance others could handle/ride him, they could un do your hard work. You could spend £££'s on a professional, get over the problem, then a month down the line, he gets ridden by someone else so has different methods and he is back to square one again. It is not only a waste of your money but also very confusing for him.

Personally I would wait until he is yours (I think I can recall you saying you were either full loaning or buying him very soon?) Then if you still feel that you require professional help. Get someout out.

Good luck :)

Yea, I wasn't going to do anything yet (not that YO/his owner would mind) :) I did get in contact with another bloke (Michael something?), to ask for prices and just tell him a little about Ned and see if it's something he could do and he said he could come and see me today!! I was very thankful, but I said no, as I can't afford it and like you guys said, he's not mine.
YO is home now (she was away for 10 weeks) we discussed selling/buying this month before she went away, but I've not seen her yet to go any further with it. Hopefully going to see her on wednesday to talk about it more!
