Further to my previous post, I'm looking for some new long boots and tbh I'm struggling. I don't have bucket loads of spare cash so Ariats are out of the question unfortunately. I'm of average height. 5'4, but I have skinny calves. about 13" or 32.5cm. I have seen some Toggi Calgary boots which look quite nice and wondered if anyone had bought these and wondered what they were like? Also Just Toggs do some which are not real leather (Nevada) and I was wondering what peoples thoughts on these were. I wonderered If they might last longer. (I do seem to kill footwear very quickly lol) I'll be grateful for anyones help. Cheers!

SHIRES NORFOLK RIDING BOOTS.

Elegant long leather boots, nice cut, zip up the back, but with a budget price, costs around £110.00 and will do you both every day riding but will also look nice for showing/competitions.

I think Toggi Calgary boots would be Ideal, my friend has them and she loves them, she's only small, and they're really good value! :)

What size are you? I have a pair of regent oakley boots for sale, narrow calf... I once had little diddy calves like you,,, sadly I no longer do and have given up all hope of ever fitting in them again:mad:. They have hardly been worn.

I like the Toggi Calgary however have gone through 2 pairs in less than 2 years because the zips keep breaking at the back round the ankle area, first pair I rode in so could maybe understand the additional pressure placed on the back zip so with the second pair just used around the yard and walking the dogs and within 8 months that zip had gone too plus the actual zipper had broken in half, and it's not like I have fat ankles or calves.

Have just purchased a pair of the Toggi Canyon boots however which I love as very similar to the Calgary but without the zip so hopefully no breaking!!!
