Im not sure if you would call them compitition boots but i love my long mountain horse boots...Soooo comfortable!

I strongly suggest you do not buy Ariat Bromonts as your competition boots ....

Why? 'Cos I did this and now ride in the damn things every day as they are so nice

Mountain Horse High Calibre Boots are absulutely lovely. I love mine and have had to stop myself wearing them all the time :p

Ariat Bromonts - lovely. I have the waterproof insulated version which are wonderful in the winter, I wear them during the summer too and yes they are a little toasty but Im not buying 2 different pairs!

I have the same issue - then ponio decided to spook my leg onto a barbed wire fence and now i have a huge scrape on one
