OH keeps asking me what I want for christmas, I am in major need of some new numnahs and or saddlecloths.
Tend to use the numnahs more though.

All the ones I find recently(having bought a couple) are really quite straight across the top and no matter how much I pull them up into the gullet they always seem to slip down.
So I would like some recommendations of some that are shaped across the top as I must be blind and can't find any!

I would highly recommend the LeMieux full lambswool numnah.

Its has a 'swan neck' which allows it to sit clear of the spine, allowing the air to pass through.

I've had mine for a year now and it's still thick and fluffy, and hasn't lost its shape at all.

LeMieux are lovely, but you do need to have your saddle fitted to accommodate them as they are thick.

NuuMed Hi-wither ones are excellent - whether your horse has high withers or not. Quality is excellent and they last for years. You can et different weights of the wool depending on the thickness you want. Look on their website, it shows all the different ones.

Thanks for those.

I do really like the le mieux ones but I don't want my saddle adjusted just so I can use one numnah, She is a hot girlie so I use a new one every couple of rides, then I wash a few when I have them. Couldn't afford a couple atm!

we bought a numnah from Oldmare on here... really lovely numnah, fits the saddle beautifully and has so far washed well (bought it at Burghley and horse is only in light work currently)

morpheus designs is the website I think....

Premier equine do some nice ones, I have the sheepskin numnah and the polypad-esque saddle cloth.

I do heart good old PE. Le Mieux are also lovely but my budget has never stretched that far. But, if its a Christmas pressie you could get away with asking for something a bit more luxurious.

I agree with HKM, fab colour range too! Also the Mark Todd saddlecloths seem to fit my high withered boy really well and dont rub his hideously sensitive TB skin! They are cheap too! And not too thick so should be perfect for a well fitting saddle!

I really like hkm. They are really nice and stay high on my tb with ridiculously high withers. Also rambo handy pads are really good!
I have nuumed and they do stay up and last but our black has started to fade and go a bit horrible looking.

I use the HKM gently ones, really nice and soft next to the horse, look smart and are generous in size. I have a GP one and a dressage one.
I get mine from ebay from a shop called horse heaven, if you search on hkm numnahs or saddlecloths it should come up.
