Hiya!
I'm in the market for some new reins, could you recommend me some please?
They need to:
  • Be black
  • Have billet ends
  • Be "Cob" size - 50"
  • Have excellent grip - maybe bio-grip or similar?
  • Not cost more than £40

Thanks!

I have the Jeffries eventa reins, they are light and have a fantastic grip but they were £70. I'm sure you'll be able to get a cheaper make.

Bio Grip all they way so much better than anything else I have ever used, had a bad experience with eventa reins - broke when new so would not trust them now. Bio Grip are on all my bridles think i paid £50 but that was when only jeffries did them so shopnig around sure you could probably get in your budget all your other criteria is met with them

Our local saddlery sells Eventer reins for £15 in the winter sale every year. I'd look out for some cheap ones :D

I have the Sabre half rubber/leather ones (rubber on the inside of them), cost around £35 and are really nice.

Just as an update, I bought some bio-grip reins from Jackie Roberts Saddlery and they are fab! Tested them out on a fun ride today, they are awesome. Very pleased with them, highly recommended :D
