recommend me some socks

Ok, I'm sick of having rubbish socks to ride in, can anyone recommend me some? Not bothered about fancy patterns ect just some comfy, long lasting ones would be fab!

Bridgedale socks. They are about £9 for a long pair but they are soooooo comfy and very hard wearing, normally last me a couple of years. And wash well too. Not had a pair go in the heels yet. Well worth the money.

These are the best socks ever!! I now have 5 pairs and they are fantastic, they last forever, they are warm, cool, wickaway and once you've had a pair you won't wear anything else

I got a pack of 5 requisite long socks around 2 years ago out of the robinsons catalogue, They are still going strong and havent worn at all. I wear them pretty much 7 days a week in winter (not just for riding) and for riding in summer which is still around 4/5 days each week. If i remember right they were under £10 for the pack.

I wear mine over trousers, work beautifully and they stay up (especially good for walking XC courses, I always find socks normally fall down doing that).
