As title really, I'd love to have just one stable rug with neck & tummy cover thats really heavy in weight and if the temperature drops really low I can pop another rug on. Any suggestions? Would like a very good quality one.

Also the same for a good T/O have looked at the big protuff rugs although they always seem out of stock and I also like the mark todd super heavy T/O

Thanks everyone :)

Spend the money on one decent turnout, horse can wear in stable at night

Lots benefits, wet rugs dry on horses, rather then putting on damp rug in morn. Same rug 24-7 you're not taking off cosy warm rug and putting cold one on (imagine throwing the duvet off when you get up in morning!!!) Also time saved changing rugs!!

Sold all my stable rugs 3year agp??

Sorry if bad tying all snuggled under duvet in bed typing on phone!!

Captain has the Mark Todd x heavy combo, which is excellent. Weatherbeta do a lovely combo x-heavy stable rug, which isn't that expensive. I,however, tend to layer rather than just use one rug, as I find it is warmer for the world biggest woss!

Bucas Power Turnout - the silver one! Will keep temperature constant from plus 15deg to minus 25deg. There is a slightly lighter weight one that covers down to minus 15deg. They are physically very lightweight, can be put on a wet horse, anti bacterial, and virtually indestructible outer!
