I have some Lister Stablemate clippers that are well over ten years old now and I think they've had it! Despite having had a fairly easy life (never clipped more tham one horse each year) and the fact that they've been serviced and have freshly sharpened blades, they seem to struggle and it takes me forever to clip.
So, what would you recommend as a replacement? Are the newer Listers worth going for or are Liveryman better?
I have two sets of blades for the Listers, is it likely that these blades will fit on a new set?
Also, are clippers that run off a battery pack any good?
I don't want to spend a fortune, but would like some that will last a few years.
Many thanks in advance x
