Recommend your best Horse Health/Ailment book please.

Seeing as my very old 'bible' has finally fallen to bits and needs to be replaced by a more up to date version I would be grateful for your recommendations please. Thankyou

the one i like is really old but they must have taken out a new version of it at some time - its the A-Z of horses health
fab book but i must admit if in doubt about anything now i google it

If you don't mind things being a bit technical then I highly recommend Veterinary Notes for Horse Owners. It was on my college booklist and is now my bible!

The Veterinary Care of the Horse by Sue Devereux. Comprehensive, brilliant book that is very clear and easy to understand.

Make sure it is the new edition though which was published 2006.

Veterinary Notes for Horse Owners is one of the books that vets use. I used to work for a vet and they gave me a copy as my leaving present. Excellent book
