Hi Everyone

I would very much appreciate your opinions on body protectors!

I sold my wedding dress for £150 yesterday (my husband is less than impressed...) so I now have spare funds for a new body protector.

I doubt I will ever get to the dizzy heights of affiliated BE, but if a competition were to be run under BE rules I would want the body protector to be compliant.

Any guidance would be great! :)

I like Racesafe but their off the rack sizes don't fit me. I have an Airowear, which looks a bit hard and bulky but is actually fairly comfortable to wear, as these things go.

Trying on is a must - different brands do fit very differently!

Second the airowear, I have the outlyne, love it, its very comfy even if it does look like it should be. Forget I am wearing it when I am jumping.

Airowear outlyne think bout £120.

I'm not a fan of wearing a BP always thot would b restricted but bought airowear last year for my 1 & only foray in2 XC training! & forgot I had it on was so comfy & light

Another Airowear Outlyne wearer and really happy with mine too. Added bonus is that it keeps me warm.:) any seasoned AO wearers here, can you tell me if I'm going to cook with it on in warm weather ...assuming that ever happens :)

TrasaM can't quote as on phone, I don't find I cook in mine, generally wear a proper running top under it in summer if at home, this wicks all sweat away from your body so you notice if sweating.

I also have an outlyne, which is really comfy although I can't get it over my jacket for SJ and hunting but I use it at home and for XC. Forget I'm wearing it most of the time.

You might find something else entirely suits you though!

Airowear has given a lot of thought to styling for women, which might explain some of their popularity. I also liked the Rodney Powell well enough but it didn't fit as well.
