Hello,

Hoping someone may be able to help me out with some advice.

I am looking to return to riding lessons after a break of several years and I was wondering if anyone could recommend a Riding School/Equestrian Centre to me which they have a good experience of and that can be reached by public transport. I am based in South London but I am happy to travel some distance to the right place.

Thanks very much.

Wimbledon Village don’t have a school on-site so everything’s done on the Common. There are a couple of arenas on the Common but obviously you’ve got to hack there first. Stag Lodge 2 has buses going past (it’s on the A3 between Richmond Park and the turnoff for Kingston Hill). They’ve got a variety of different sized arenas and a range of horses for differing standards of riders
