Recommendation for magnesium free calmer

Just wondered if there is a horse calmer that doesnt use magnesium? I had my soil tested a couple of years ago and it is high in magnesium which apparently is fairly unusual.
My new boy is very spooky hacking and quite anxious. Im working on it and taking him out with a friend etc but just wondered if there is a calmer that doesnt use magnesium that might help.
I have tried the Top spec calmer but that hasnt made any difference (been on it 3 weeks) . Think thats because it contains magnesium which presumably he doesnt need.
Any suggestions?
 
Topspec calmer is tryptophan based. I swapped to it from NAF MAGIC which took an edge off but he was still tense and wired. I swapped because the ingredients were clearly different, as far as I could tell from the label

Yes thats why i chose it but having read the tub ingredients it also has magnesium in it
