My young dressage mare has a very soft mouth, ususally ridden in a sprenger KK ultra bit, she isn't settling in it so am looking to try something different and softer.
Any ideas what has worked for others with very soft mouths, not keen on happy mouths.

I do not like the happy mouths as I find they are hard and go really sharp if a horse chews it!
But I do love my Sprenger Duo, its been really good for quite a few horses I have ridden that have been unsettled and or had really soft mouths, its not hard or set straight, its got some movement and it really gets them to accept the contact and settle in their mouths..... its my fave dress bit

I have found a normal snaffle wrapped in bit tape works the best . . . makes the bit warm, spongy and you can just replace the tape if they chew through it!
