My mark Todd back protector is more than ten years old and the bit that is supposed to cover the lower back and coccyx is too long and hits the back of my saddle, hence its not ideal for riding my youngster. Its also very stiff and bulky. I need a new one to ride my newly backed horse in preferably something that not too rigid.
Please can I have you recommendations, its only for hacking and sandschool work, not going round Badminton yet!

Love my Racesafe one. Its panelled rather than solid so more flexible (if back protectors can be flexible:) If you fall and damage the panels you can replace individually rather than buy whole new thing

i personally hate the things but O/H has a kanteq bp and she loves it it looks bulky and heavy but she says you cant feel it when your riding at all. so might be worth a look
