aaaaargh so my show is fast approaching and i still need a Tweed Jacket,

I love the Dublin Cambrigde but not sure I can afford £70

I would preferably like a green one similar to the dublin Cambridge one with the navy velvet on pocket although not essential

thanks:D

I would look for a more expensive one second hand on ebay or something, or local tack shops have second hand bits and bats aswell if you ask. or stick an ad up :)

Either try and find a nice one second hand on ebay if you have time (you can get Caldene's for a reasonable money on there) or other wise I second the Shires jacket. I have zillions of tweeds (including super plush mrs candy's) but actually the huntingdon is really quite nice :)

thanks everyone,

not sure about buying second hand though as would rather try it one as i have a size 8 top but with super long arms, i have as my normal jacket a dublin hobart in a 34" and its just long enough on the arms

the cottage craft one is fab. mine is 2 years old so hope they still make it

lovely greeny colour and nice and lightweight for summer too

tbh...other than finding something on ebay, you'll struggle to get what you want on that budget...

I've never seen the Shires huntingdon for under about £80...occassionally you get the odd 1 on ebay for cheaper, but it takes some searching for!!!

my local tack shops stock dublin ones and i think the shires one, so may just ask my gran for some more money haha, she always buys showjackets ect :D

i havent seen the cottage craft ones though yet

Ditto the Shire's huntingdon jacket - it's a really really nice jacket, and cheap too. I got mine for #36 off ebay brand new :D Someone was selling a load off.

It really would be worth spending a little more money now and getting a jacket you can keep for good. I think you'll really struggle to find anything in a green for under #50 : most cheap jackets are that horrible blue colour.
