Recommendations for Aloe Vera gel for horses please!

Buy an aloe vera plant and snap the stalks and squeeze out all the liquid aloe vera, Its the most pure source of it and it heals really quickly. A friends mum told me about it!!

I use Sterex Aloe Vera Gel, is used for after hair removal for us girlies but is fab. Can get from 'Sally's' online. Have got a small tube i can send you if you want to try some.

I would highly suggest Aloeride.

Aloeride is an authentic remedy for wounds. The historic use of Aloe partially sustains the efficiency of Aloeride, and the latest technology used in processing Aloeride should break any doubts.
If wounds are always a possibility, Aloeride is certainly the necessary remedy.

here you can find more info on it http://www.aloeveraibs.com/

What i do from my own experience, since horse wont be able to take pill I easly break it up and mix the powder with water - all sorted.

Not too sure about the previous poster but anyhow.

Barrier animal healthcare do a tub of aloe vera gel for a reasonable price.

Holland and Barret also do bargain stuff

I usef to be a rep for forever living products - you need to either sign up to be a rep yourself or find somebody who will supply you (some of the reps have their own internet sites you can order from).

I think the forever stuff is the purest quality but most expensive. Always check the label when you buy aloe vera products - many of them are quite low percentage of aloe. If I were you I'd buy a few aloe plants, so that you can use the leaves fresh whenever you need it. You can either just cut a leaft in half and rub the gel side to the wound, or filllet it to get the gel seperately to use.

I use the Barrier stuff too. Its pure. Im not sure just what percentage of 'filler' the high street cheapies contain.

I find it works very well and very quickly.

I also use Hilton Herbs Phytobalm which is another very useful little pot to have in my first aid kit. Great for healing.
