Hi,

My girl's saddle is prone to slipping (it's a Vogue GPS). I originally had a Professional's Choice girth, which was fab, but one of the keeps eventually ripped off and I can't find anywhere that will fix it. And at £50-odd, I was a bit disappointed. I also use a non-slip saddle pad.

Saddler says that I need a new girth (currently using a Wintec one). Can anyone recommend a good, reasonably priced girth that will keep the saddle where it should be?

Thanks!

You could try a flexi girth, they have a grippy elastic bit in the middle and do help with a slipping saddle. You can try before ou buy which means you don't waste your money. They have a website

Another vote for the Flexi Girth, I first used a dressage version on my perfectly round, no withered cob with her treeless saddle, this was trhe first girth I had used that stopped any saddle slippage, I had tried quite a few girths before and a few different numnahs. I use this girth on my current horse who does have withers :) with his treeless saddle and a normal numnah. Either saddle has never moved :). Can't recommend them highly enough.
